AMLCost is a free, independent calculator that helps Australian law firms, accounting practices and real estate agencies understand what the AML/CTF Tranche 2 reforms may cost their business — both upfront and annually — before they talk to any vendor.

Where the data comes from

Cost estimates are built from publicly available sources, including:

• AUSTRAC public materials —Tranche 2 guidance, reform timelines and obligation summaries
• Government regulatory impact analysis — published estimates of compliance cost ranges for affected professions
• Vendor public pricing — published rate tiers and package prices from AML/CTF software and screening providers

Assumptions are stated on each page. Because vendor pricing and regulatory settings change, figures are indicative and should be verified against current quotes.
